This itinerary is an ideal introduction to West Bengal, Sikkim and Assam, offering spectacular Himalayan views, a taste of the rich Bengali culture and a tea plantation stay. Day to Day Atractions

Day 1

Kolkata

You will be received by our representative on your arrival. You will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel. (Sunset at Howarh Bridge Kolkatta)

Day 2

Kolkata

After breakfast at the hotel you will be taken on a sightseeing tour of the city. You will be accompanied by a local guide who will take you to all the famous monuments, temples and bazaars of the city. Later back to the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3

Sunderbans

Early morning drive to Sonakhali Jetty through the countryside. Upon arrival you ll board a boat. A local naturalist will guide you through Hogol, Gomor, Durgaduani and Gumdi rivers. Arrive Bali Island for lunch and check in at the jungle camp. Further on you go to Sudhanyakhali watchtower while bird watching on the way. The tower is the usual spot for spotting tigers. Day 4

Sunderbans

After an early breakfast we embark on a full day cruise tour to Netidhopani and Dobanki watchtowers. We try to spot the tigers from the tigers from the Netidhopani tower and go for the Canopy Walk to Dobanki Tower. Lunch would be served on the boat itself. Early evening return to camp. Overnight stay at the camp.

Day 5

New Jalpaiguri

Post breakfast you will go for guided tour of the village nearby. You will be able to see the lifestyle and culture of the people living there. Before you return to the camp for lunch you go on a manually oared country boat. In the afternoon you will be transferred to Snakhali Jetty and from there further to Kolkata from where you will board an overnight train to New Jalpaiguri.

Day 6

Darjeeling

Arrive New Jalpaiguri this morning and you will be transferred to the famous ‘Toy Train’, the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway for a full day journey to Darjeeling. Upon arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 7

Darjeeling

After breakfast you go on a guided tour of Darjeeling visiting the famous places of the city and obviously the tea gardens. The evening is free for exploring the bazaars and the town. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8

Gangtok

After breakfast you leave for Gangtok by road. On arrival check-in at the hotel. Rest if the day is free and you can explore the town around. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 9

Gangtok

An early wake up call to catch the sunrise over Kanchenjunga range from Ganesh Tok. Return back to hotel for breakfast. Later we visit Tibetan monuments which are laden with very rare Tibetan Cultural and religious artifacts. Evening free to explore around. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 10

Kalimpong

Post breakfast you leave for Kalimpong. Spectacular views of the highest mountain range and its horticulture await you here. Check-in at hotel upon arrival. Later we visit Dello Hills, flower nurseries and traditional paper factory. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 11

Kaziranga

Post breakfast you leave for Bagdogra and board your flight to Guwahati. On arrival you will be received by our representative and transferred to Kaziranga by road. Upon arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 12

Kaziranga

After breakfast at hotel you leave for a jeep/elephant safari into the Kaziranga National. You will be accompanied by a local naturalist. The park has a vast population of rhinos and tigers. After a day-long safari return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 13

Dibrugarh

Post breakfast you have an option to go again on a short safari. Later you drive to Dibrugarh. Upon arrival you check-in at hotel which is a fully working tea estate. Make yourself at home and relax and enjoys the spectacular views around. Overnight stay at the tea estate.

Day 14

Dibrugarh

The day is free on the plantation. You can explore it by seeing the working of the tea industry, take a tour to the tea garden have a tasting session etc. You even an option of going for kayaking or horseback riding. Given the number of activities and the lovely setting of the accommodation, a three night stay here is well worthwhile.

Day 15

Kolkata

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Kolkata to further leave for your onboard destinations.
