The tour exclusively designed for the food lover in you, takes you on a journey to the various flavors of India. Along with the diversity in culture in India its food changes with it, therefore bringing the same diversity to the flavors and cooking methods in its food. The tour takes you on a food-tasting ride beginning from Delhi and further to south India visiting Lucknow and Bengal in between. On this tour you will get to experience the diversity in food within one country which you might not be able to find anywhere else in the world.

Day to Day Atractions

Day 1

Delhi

You arrive Delhi airport where you will be received by our representative and you will be transferred to your hotel thereafter.

Day 2

Delhi

In the morning you will visit Jama Masjid from where you will go for a walking tour of Old Delhi where you will have various street food and eventually for breakfast at the famous Karim’s. Later you go visit Delhi’s monuments of the Mughal Era and later in the evening you go to a Punjabi restaurant for a full fledged Punjabi dinner.

Day 3

Lucknow

You catch a morning super fast train to Lucknow. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. After freshening up you will be taken to a sightseeing tour of Lucknow visiting various monuments of historic importance. For dinner you will be taken to Nawab’s Havelli where the recipies of Avadhi cuisine have been passed down through generation since the Mughal Era.

Day 4

Lucknow

Morning is fee to relax. You go out around noon for a walk through the streets and alleys of Lucknow city to experience the local street food. For lunch you will be taken to the famous Tunda’s Kebabs for authentic Lucknowi food experience. The evening is free and you are fee to explore on your own.

Day 5

Kolkata

Today morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Kolkata. Upon arrival you will be received and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon you go for a walk through the city to taste some street food. Afterwards you will be taken to a traditional Bengali home for demonstration of authentic Bengali cooking methods and food.

Day 6

Kolkata

Today you will be taken to Chinatown for breakfast where the whole family takes part in preparing food. Afterwards you go on a sightseeing tour of the city in the afternoon. The evening is free to relax and explore around.

Day 7

Chennai

A transfer to the airport this morning four flight to Chennai. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is free to relax or explore around. For dinner you will be taken to a restaurant holding specialty in Chettinadu cuisine for dinner.

Day 8

Chennai

Today you go for a sightseeing tour of the city or choose to go on for one of the several themed walks in the streets of Chennai. At lunch you will taste traditional Tamil Brahmin cuisine at a popular local food outlet. Evening is free to relax and roam around.

Day 9

Cochin

Transfer to the airport this morning for a flight to Cochin; you will be met on arrival and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon take a sightseeing tour of Fort Kochi, including the Dutch Palace, Chinese fishing nets and St Francis Church.

Day 10

Cochin

Today morning you go for a cooking class given by famous cook Nimmy Paul. She will host the class in her open kitchen at her place teaching you the technicalities of the dishes she will be cooking. The food then would be served to you in a traditional Malyalam way. Evening free to relax.

Day 11

Alleppey

You leave for Aleppey via road where you board a house for a day cruise and an overnight stay. On you cruise you will be interacting with your crew you will be cooking and serving you authentic traditional Kerelan food.

Day 12

Tellicherry

You will leave the houseboat in morning and will be transferred to railway station for your train to Tellicherry. Upon arrival you will transferred to your hotel, Ayisha Manzil. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Ms Faiza Moosa, an expert of Mappila cuisine would be serving you with authentic North Kerelan meals.

Day 13

Tellicherry

Today all the meals will be at your accommodation where Ms Faiza will be demonstrating the cooking methods of Mappila dishes to you.

Day 14

Mumbai

Today you will drive to Calicut airport for your flight to Mumbai. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel. For dinner you will taken to Trishna restaurant , a sea food specialty restaurant.

Day 15

Mumbai

In the morning you go for a sightseeing tour of Mumbai city. For lunch you will be taken to the famous Leopold’s café. Alternatively you can go ona local ride to Dadar to try the local Goan or Maharashtran food. Return to your hotel thereafter and rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 16

Mumbai

Today you will be transferred to the airport for your inward destination.
